Staff Resources
How to work a We Staff It event.
The standards we brief every staffer on. A full resource hub with documents and training will live here as the platform rolls out.
Essentials
Everything expected of you, in one place.
Before your shift
- Confirm the event as soon as you accept it.
- Read the brief — role, goals, and talking points.
- Check call time, address, parking, and check-in contact.
- Charge your phone; most check-ins happen on it.
Wardrobe
- Follow the wardrobe note in your brief exactly.
- Default is clean, pressed all-black unless told otherwise.
- Closed-toe, comfortable shoes for long shifts.
- Bring a backup layer for outdoor events.
On site
- Arrive 15 minutes before call time.
- Check in with your team lead before anything else.
- Phones away unless the role requires one.
- Ask your lead before leaving your area.
Communication
- Tell us early if something changes — early is fine, silent is not.
- Escalate guest or venue issues to your lead immediately.
- Never speak to press or post about a client event without approval.
